It’s a good thing that we declared independence from Britain in the name of freedom so that 247 years later, we’d be letting the government decide what clothes people can and can’t wear, what necessary medical treatments we can and can’t seek, what books we are allowed to read, and what factual parts of our history teachers aren’t allowed to teach.
