@milkman76 @susankayequinn I'm not, but my experience of ten years in LA being around a wide variety of people from different backgrounds was that those on the right were generally more comfortable with gun ownership, and that there are many places in the state that are deeply red despite the overall impression of some outside that California is all groovy and whatever.

I am sure, however, as you point out, that it's not EXCLUSIVELY right wingers who are armed.
