I had a brief thought when I woke up to rain today: </p><p>I don't want to go on Saturday. </p><p>It was brief, though, because they are asking for people's papers in Boston. </p><p>They kidnapped a student while wearing masks. </p><p>They ripped a dad from his 5 year old son and sent him to El Salvador. </p><p>They combed through endless governmemt data "to find waste" but they were gathering vast amounts of data about people they can now deport without any due process. </p><p>It's the same work that the powerful in 1940's Germany did. </p><p>It's the SAME FUCKING WORK. </p><p>I'm going because this is WRONG. It's designed to create fear and elicit control. </p><p>I was aware, as much as a kid could be, of the coverage of protests against Viet Nam in the mid and late 60's</p><p>I'm a mid 60's white man with enormous privilege and good fortune. </p><p>Hell yes, I'm going to show up.</p>
