A spiral galaxy is seen in the image center with a distinct purple hue. The galaxy features a bright inner ring, but even outside of that appears another large ring. The outer rings appears light brown. Foreground stars are visible throughout the image.

Look closely around the 1 o'clock position to see another distant ring galaxy in the background.

Hoag's Object, a beautiful ring galaxy, if you look closely at the 1 o'clock position you will see another even more distant ring galaxy.
