Alito isn’t going to be held to any standards. Same with Thomas. They’re going to do whatever the hell their traitorous asses feel like doing, and you’re just going to sit there and take it. No one’s going to protest because no one cares.
This is real failed state stuff. Calling this a kangaroo court would be an insult to kangaroos. Why does anyone continue to believe in this? (Somewhat dated article)

I think there's this dynamic below the surface where everyone that buys in on The State and even the most robust reforms you could imagine just doesn't think you protest SCOTUS existing like it does, a general anti-corruption and malfeasance thing. They don't got those bones in their body given their political basis accepts SCOTUS and courts in general are final arbiters beyond reproach by design.
And most anyone in an alternative cohort that would be more than happy to drop judges where they stand isn't interested in dropping judges where they stand as some kind of base elemental reform to The State.
It's just generally nobody's actual business or interest to make a stink about the highest court being a fash passthrough, whether they are aware and care about the situation and itd be really weird if we didn't have some prior parameters guiding the whole thing.
